Course Offerings

Agriscience Foundations I | 9-12
This course is designed to provide students with learning experiences that develop practical skills in the field of agriculture and related business.

Agritechnology I and II | 10-12
These courses prepare students for employment in positions in the agricultural industry. The content includes instruction in livestock and crop production, processing, and marketing; agriculture sales and services; employablility skills and mathematics; basic science; biological sicences; communication; and human relations.

Landscape and Turf Science IV & V | 10-12
This course provides students with more advanced skills and competencies in livestock and crop production, processing, and marketing; agriculture mechanics; employability skills; mathematics; basic science; biological sciences; communication; and human relations.

Landscape Operations VI | 9-12
A general introduction ot the three basic types of turf grass in Florida in regards to their identification, cultivation, and general maintenance. Including identification of uses, fertilization management and procedures, turf grass and water relationships and pest identification and management.

Sports and Recreational Turf Operations VI | 9-12
An introductory exposure to the cultivation and maintenance of various turf/ specialty grasses and their uses. The course will also cover fertilization procedures, irrigation systems, pest management, and equipment useage and safety.

Natural Resources II and III | 10-12
The objective of this course is the study of forests and the natural environment. Students will be able to prepare for FFA Forestry and Land Judging competitions with the knowledge gained in this class.

Animal Science & Services II and III
In this class the students will concentrate on animal science and services. Students will gain knowledge that will be helpful in the County Fair and FFA animal competitions.
