Spanish I, II, III, and IV
AP Spanish
In Spanish I, students will learn to speak, read and recite basic everyday Spanish. Students will learn to greet and begin conversing with classmates in the language and understand Hispanic culture. In Spanish II, students will learn the tenses and use of verbs. In Spanish III and IV, students will use the language in conversions, readings, and translations. AP Spanish is for upper level students who have completed Spanish II or better. This course emphasizes Spanish language, grammar and literature and follows the curriculum of the Advanced Placement program
Spanish for Spanish Speakers I, II, III, and IV
These courses are for students who are native Spanish speakers. It will emphasize grammar,writing and literature as well as complex conversional Spanish and translation. Students completing at least throgh their second year are able to take AP Spanish.
French I, II, III, and IV
French I is designed for students to learn to speak, read, and write basic French and to study French culture. In French II, students will learn mayn new very tenses, grammar and augment their French vocabulary. French II and IV will continue practice in the same skills learned in French I and French II, while expanding upon structures and vocabulary through conversations and reading.
