Course Offerings
Intensive Math
This class is for students who have not yet passed FCAT Math and need to develop the skills for this graduation requirement. Students meeting the graduation requirement mid-year will be able to take a 1/2 credit elective 2nd semester. Students will be placed in this course based on scoring below passic on FCAT Math in 10th grade; transfer students who have not yet taken FCAT will be assessed using another standards based assessment to determine if placement is needed in this course. Students scoring substantially below level will be placed in level A; those minimally below in level B. This remediation is required under FL 1008.25. This course will not count toward the math graduation requirement. It is an elective credit.
Integrated Math III
This course is designed for the college bound student who plan to enroll in an entry level mathematics course of college algebra or pre-calculus. This course reviews Algebra II concepts and explores the additional topics of statistics, conic sections, trigometry and geometry, and the complex number system.
Algebra IA
This course is the first year of an Algebra I course taught over a two-year period. Students receive the same algebra instruction as students in the traditional Algebra course, at a different pace of instruction.
Algebra IB
This course is the second year of an Algebra I course taught over a two-year period. Students receive the same algebra instruction as students in the traditional Algebra course, at a different pace of instruction.
Algebra I
Algebra I is a course designed to provide the foundation for more advanced mathematics courses and to develop the skills needed to solve mathematical problems.
Algebra I Honors
Algebra I Honors is a course designed to provide a rigorous and complete study of Algebra I topics. While emphasizing deductive reasoning skills and problem solving, this course provides a foundation for more advanced study in mathematics
Algebra II
This course is a comprehensive study of intermediate Algebra II and is designed to continue the study of the structure of algebra.
