FFA - Future Farmers of America
.....Future Farmers
of America is a youth organization that was developed
specifically to expand the opportunities
of leadership, Agri-Science, and skill development
for students; it is an important teaching tool. It
serves as a laboratory developing leadership and
citizenship skills. These in turn, are all helpful
in learning Agri-Science skills. The primary goal
of FFA is the development of Agri-Science leadership,
cooperation, and citizenship.

The Riverdale Future Farmers of America
.....The Riverdale FFA has been working very hard
since the start of the new school year. With just
a few weeks of hard studying, our forestry team managed
to win third place. Our next big goal is to place
first in the Envirothon coming up in December. Then
in February we are off to the Southwest Florida Lee
County fair, where each member can proudly display
and auction their steer or hog they raised all year.
We, the Riverdale FFA, would like to thank Mrs. Nantz
and Mr. Desgardins of the Riverdale Agriculture Department
for giving so much of their time and energy to form
our club. We would also like to thank out president,
Jessica Farmer, and all the officers for devoting
their energy into transforming this club into a successful
organization
