Raiders
JROTC offers many teams open to all cadets. These teams are an extension of the program as they promote leadership, decision-making, discipline, physical fitness, mental well-being and volunteerism. One of the most notable teams is the Raider team. The Raider team is the most physically demanding extracurricular activity in JROTC. A well-rounded Raider team must be in top-notch shape as many of the activities include push-ups, sit ups, and / or running. A Raider team consists of a minimum 10 and a maximum of 12 members on a team, this is not gender-dictated. Raiders is for those cadets who wish to challenge their physical endurance, mental strength, and their leadership. All cadets who participate in Raider team will have a chance to strengthen their leadership, improve on their fitness, and participate in competitions against other school Raider teams. Raiders is for people who want to put their fitness and endurance on the line, people who wish to challenge themselves.
