The purpose of these classes is to support students who need to understand how to analyze and integrate reading to pass the FSA and be successful in other courses.

Based on the student’s reading ability, we have 4 levels of support.  Our System 44 classes offer the most support, offering decoding and encoding skills to students who learning English or who need this level of support.  Our Read180 classes are designed to support readers who traditionally struggle with academics and in particular the FSA test.  Our 9/10th grade Edge program provides additional rigor and helps those students who just need a little support to pass the FSA.  Our 11th and 12th grade reading programs are provided to prepare students to meet their reading graduation requirement by passing either the SAT, ACT, or FSA.  This year we also added an elective to the reading department for just ACT/SAT prep for those college bound students who are trying to obtain a particular score in order to meet the college admission requirements of their choice.
