Dress Code Expectations

The purpose of the Dress Code is to encourage students to focus on learning without the distractions of unsuitable dress and grooming. Students shall maintain a clean, orderly appearance at all times.

👕 Tops & Shirts

  • No See-Through: Translucent or lace tops are not permitted.
  • Midriffs Covered: No skin showing on the stomach. Includes tube tops, tanks, and halters.
  • No Modifications: Shirts may not be tied up or cut off.
  • Layering: Clothing under jackets/sweaters must still meet dress code.

👖 Bottoms

  • Length: Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be finger-tip length.
  • Waistline: Pants must be worn at the natural waistline (fastened/zipped).
  • Spandex/Leggings: Permitted only if non-see-through.
  • No Pajamas: Sleepwear/pajama pants are not permitted.

👟 Shoes & Accessories

  • Back Straps: Footwear must have a back/strap. No slides or slippers.
  • No Headwear: No hats, bandanas, or hoods (Hats allowed in P.E. only).
  • Safety: No jewelry/clothing that could cause injury.
  • Prohibited Content: No symbols for drugs, alcohol, or obscene slogans.

Dress Code Violation Policy

Students out of dress code will remain in a designated area until proper clothing is acquired.

The school administration reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any current fashion or fad.
